Join BRABC for a showing of the amazing 1996 documentary, ‘All Power To The People: The Black Panther Party and Beyond’. This film features the voices of many folks involved in the BPP, BLA and other liberation movements of the 1960’s and 70’s as well as historians and activists talking about the suppression of the party through the Counter-Intelligence Program (COINTELPRO) of the FBI.
Because it’s a 2 hour film, we’ll be starting an hour earlier than usual at 5:30pm sharp and hold space for 30 minutes of discussion afterwards. As usual, we’ll be hosting this at Firestorm Books, 610 Haywood Rd.
