Join us on September 5th from 5-7pm at West Asheville Park (11 Vermont Ave, Asheville) for our monthly, socially distanced letter writing events. We’ll provide materials, names of prisoners with upcoming birthdays or facing repression who could use a kind word, potential friends and comrades. Or just come by with your own writing project for a collective hangout if you’d like. Letters not only work to bridge connections through the bars, they can also provide a shield of recognition to people living in cages.
